Anxiety questions beyond nose drops

Question sheet

Start with the words

Get to know the name.

A name can sound familiar before its meaning is clear. Here is the small set of words to start with.

FDA is short for the Food and Drug Administration, which reviews medicines in the US.

The short answer

Selank is a peptide, meaning a short string of the small parts that make proteins.

Selank is made in a lab from seven of those parts.

Why people look it up

Selank was developed in Russia for anxiety.

The Russian product leaflet describes drops put in the nose.

The human research has looked at anxiety; claims about better memory draw on rat experiments.

Ask what a study actually measured. A study of anxiety does not answer a claim about memory.

The short answer

As of September 2026, Selank has no FDA-approved US product.

A name on an offer is a starting point for questions, not the whole answer.

Translate the words in an offer

With compounding, medicine is prepared to suit one patient’s needs rather than supplied as a finished factory product.

Telehealth is a conversation with a health professional using video, a phone call, or online communication while you are in separate places.
